Moving enthusiastically into the New Year

The Main Line Business Monthly November issue features the outstanding and successful events of 2015.  As we begin to prepare for the New Year, we are able to look back and reflect on the all positive attributes and accomplishments of our members, ambassadors, board and staff.  With the conclusion of our five year running program Make More Save More, we strive to improve our already successful events such as Network at Noon and focus on creating educational geared programs including our Talent & Education Initiative (TEN). We anticipate 2016 will be another year full of prosperous achievements. Have a safe and Happy Holiday season and a Happy New Year.

The Main Line Business Monthly October issue showcases the power of business and member unity to help one another thrive not only through finances, but employee empowerment to build a stronger business community.  October was an incredibly successful month with over 7 events dedicated to the Chamber helping its members become aware of the resources around them.  We welcomed many new members with ribbon cuttings and received outstanding support from all our volunteers, team leaders, ambassadors and membership. The Main Line Business Monthly September issue emphasizes the power of volunteers. This month the Chamber has had a positive Membership drive program designed to strengthen our organization.  We were more than pleased with the outcome of all the volunteers who stepped up to show their support.  Without our volunteers and committees we wouldn't be able to have an such incredible impact on the community.  Please help us thank the more than 55 volunteers (listed on page 16) that are committing their time to make the Chamber's mission of enabling members to succeed, promoting economic growth in the region, developing an informed business community, and enhancing the quality of life on the Main Line beneficial.

The Main Line Business Monthly August issue spotlights Eileen Connolly-Robbins, who recently stepped down from her role as executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Chamber. Another major focus and successful initiative of the Chamber is Leadership Main Line. The 2015 graduating class left a positive impact on the business community and personal relationships developed throughout the course.  "Through inspiration, thought leadership from the region's best leaders, and a hands-on community-focused group project, Leadership Main Line provided me a unique opportunity to accelerate my development as a leader...all while building lasting relationships and a heightened community focus along the way," wrote Nate Prosser of Vanguard of his experience.  Applications for the 2016 class will be available soon.
