Moving enthusiastically into the New Year

In the wake our outstanding Red Carpet Dinner and Main Line Gives Back Awards on Dec. 2, the staff and volunteers who drive the Chamber are looking with enthusiasm at the arrival of 2016. Our Chamber’s renewed focus on Connecting with Business, Leadership Development and Talent is resonating with a growing number of companies in the region.

Recently, the CEO of a King of Prussia company with 200 employees discovered Leadership Main Line and the work of the Talent and Education Network. He was surprised that a chamber of commerce could be a resource for developing talent. Now his company is a new member as one of his employees is applying for a slot in LML and the company is exploring how the Chamber can help it with talent acquisition and retention.

This builds on the ongoing work of LML and our Society of Professional Women, with its sold-out events, Women Helping Women Mentoring and She-Suite Leadership Workshops.

We will be connecting businesses at our Jan. 29 Economic Forecast Breakfast and Annual Meeting, featuring one of our nation’s top economists Mark Zandi sharing insights regarding the economy that affects all our businesses.

And I’m proud to announce that our popular Network at Noon events will be held at the popular Radnor Hotel, with Wells Fargo as the presenting sponsor in 2016.

Along with our other Signature Events, which attract our largest companies, we are beefing up our Young Professionals offerings and continuing our ever-popular Business Card Exchanges.

We will offer much more as well. Members are encouraged to attend one of our Members First events, where they will learn more about the value of doing business with one another while gaining an understanding of all your chamber of commerce has to offer.

Thank you for your support. Here’s to an energizing and profitable holiday season.
