Job Description:

    • Verify that all accounts balance daily
  •                Open/print, stamp, code, get approvals and enter all payables.
  •                Complete daily integrations
    • Inventory (run checks) – manipulate the file
    • Enter all inventory transfers manually between locations
    • Cash Receipts (CSA, TT.com and the Payment Plan)
    • Update checklist spreadshee
  •                Print out new PO’s
  •                Add to PO spreadsheet, make a new PO folder (verify all information on PO is correct)
  •                Keep Morning Reports
  •                Create Commercial Invoice and Packing List for PO that have shipped and send to Century.
  •               Prepare L/C, Presentations for TSC
  •               Enter Sales  into GP, update on PO Spreadsheet and email invoices
    • Do credit memos
    • Make Journal entry in financial for Label charges
  •                Enter Receivables  in GP and update paid PO’s on spreadsheet
    • Apply credit memos to PO’s that posted on paid transaction list
    • Make sure Bank Deposits are put in correct account
  •                Keep track of receiving of PO’s
    • Do invoicing for customers
  •                Check to make sure all 30% deposits for accepted PO’s made to factories
  •                Container Management
    • Make sure all items have cubes (units of measure in GP)
    • Create containers from Container detail sent by factory
    • Keep updated information when shipments ship, land and receive at warehouse
  •                Approve wires in Wells
  •                Make sure all PO Folders have corrected information, and file
  •                Complete expense report for employees
  •                Scan checks received from CSA or mail into Ocean First, make cash receipt in GP

WEEKLY

  •                Prepare payables due list 
  •                Do checks, - get signatures, mail
  •                Pay vendors with Amex
  •                Make wire payments to factories
    • Send the factories a breakdown of payments
  •                Make sure money is transferred for bi-monthly payroll into payroll account
  •                 Enter Receivables
    • Make sure Bank Deposits are done in the right account
  •                Print FedEx and UPS Invoices, code, and enter into GP
  •                Sit in and take notes for International Sales
  •                Keep track of international POs (status of orders)

MONTHLY

  • Reconcile American Express Statement and enter into GP, adding to the spreadsheets for each individual (25th of the month)
  • Reconcile Inventory for all warehouses (first 2 days of month)
  • Expense reports employee's mileage
  • Create list for CSA 3% management of Paid PO’s in month
  • Create monthly Invoice  and enter into payables
  • Enter expenses & monthly payroll 
  • Reconcile end of month accounts
    • Sales
    • Sales allowances
    • Prepaid label account (1409)
    • Kitchen & Misc Expenses
    • Business Promotions 
    • Marketing Promotions

Minimum Qualifications to Apply: 

  • Bachelors degree
  • 0-3 years of general accounting experience
  • Great Plains experience highly preferred
  • Should be analytical and detailed oriented 
  • Ability to understand and resolve complex issues 
  • Comfortable with technology and strong Excel Skills
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced organization and be a quick learner

 

Job Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of general accounting experience
