Overview:

Our client, a healthcare facility in Philadelphia, is looking for a Compensation Coordinator to join their team. They will provide support for the day-to-day activities of the compensation department. These activities include understanding of compensation administration, job descriptions, and survey response abilities.

Duties:

  • Review Job Analysis Questionnaires and using survey library prepares a recommendation for salary range placement.
  • Complete wage survey request accurately and in a timely fashion. Identify positions that match the company's positions and collect appropriate data.
  • Respond to request from government agencies for wage information.
  • Provide support for Compensation team projects. Compile required information and assist in preparing reports, documents, and analysis of presented issues.

Minimum Qualifications to Apply:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least three years of experience in compensation OR High School Diploma and at least five or more years of experience in compensation
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to review, analyze, and interpret data, write formulas, create pivot tables and graphs, and provide conclusions and recommendations based on analysis
  • Must be able to calculate, analyze, and interpret mathematical and statistical information such as percent differences, ratios, median, mean, weighted average, regression, etc.
  • High attention to detail and strong customer focus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with federal, state and local laws impacting compensation
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Word

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 /hour

Required education:

  • Bachelor's

  • Human Resources: 1 year
