SEPTA to increase fares beginning July 1
SEPTA's board of directors approved fare increases that will go into effect on July 1. Cash fares will rise from $2 to $2.25 and tokens from $1.55 to $1.80 for single rides. Weekly and monthly TransPasses will jump from $22 to $24 and $83 to $91 respectively, according to Brian McCrone of Philly.com.
