Accessing Gender Equality in the Workplace, An Interview

Presented By:

Kimberly Ramalho, VP, Communications and Public Affairs Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS)

Global organizations can face multiple challenges between the elements of culture, communication, goals, budgeting, unexpected events and more. Listen to an interview with two incredible female leaders of a local and national organization and their perspective on how to work together successfully. 50 percent of female business leaders, 80 percent of female tech leaders, 75 percent of women in the U.S. Senate and EVERY Secretary of State are Girl Scout alumnae. As the world continues to change, Girl Scouts is also shifting its programming to keep up with the times and is readying girls for 21st century careers. Learn what the organization is doing now and how it is evolving.

Kimberly Ramalho has nearly 25 years of communications experience and is credited with developing programs that deliver a high return on investment, motivate employees and increase awareness of the business. She is actively involved in the corporation's Diversity and Inclusion efforts and serves as an executive champion for Lockheed Martin's Women's Impact Network. She's a firm believer in having it all (and does, as she resides in New Jersey with her husband and twin children) and publishes regularly on the topic of gender equality in the workplace via her Thrive Global column. This fireside interview will provide perspectives into how those in leadership positions can embrace the next workforce generation and beyond.

SPW Mission:
To accelerate the advancement and expand the influence of women leaders of all professions and generations, strengthen our business community, and support the region's non-profit organizations.
