What determines what is newsworthy and what isn't? Earned media can drive the bottom line for companies, and certain messaging and marketing activities can also backfire during a crisis. Attendees will be invited to take part in an interactive pitch workshop to have their stories reviewed for merit by Tony DeFazio, and will learn what the media is looking for now and how to build thought leadership.
