Advocacy
The Main Line Chamber of Commerce’s advocacy is largely conducted through its Government Affairs Committee, which proposes policy positions to the Chamber’s Board of Directors and takes direction from the Board. In addition to the positions that are adopted, a vital part of the Government Affairs Committee’s mission is to help member organizations more effectively advocate on their own behalf.
Although the Chamber is interested in and stays abreast of national issues, it is most actively involved at the state and local levels.
