The Celebration of Business Leadership is a long-standing tradition for The Main Line Chamber of Commerce and this year’s awards provide a compelling cross section of our membership.

                 I’m pleased to announce the honorees who will receive their awards at our June 23 luncheon event at The Desmond Hotel and Conference Center. They are worthy examples for other business leaders who are looking to grow their companies and make a positive difference in the community. This event also marks the graduation ceremony for Leadership Main Line, featuring 25 outstanding leaders from many of the Chamber’s largest companies.

Our CEO of the Year will be Nanette Sciolla Carney of The Carney Group, a Blue Bell job placement firm that is celebrating its 24th year in business. Carney leads a company that has seen 40 percent growth over the past five years.

The F. Karl Schauffele Community Service Award winner for public service will go to Eric Goldstein, Executive Director of the King of Prussia District – a business improvement group that laid the groundwork for transformations now taking place in new residential, retail and transportation-related developments. The Schauffele Award is named for a former President and CEO of The Main Line Chamber of Commerce who worked tirelessly on behalf of the communities of our region.

Our final individual honoree is Emerging Leader Janelle Snyder, an attorney who is honing her entrepreneurial instincts as the founder of SnyderLAW of Wayne.

Other winners this year are:

Large Business of the Year: Vertex of Berwyn;

Medium Business of the Year: Partner’s Consulting  of Broomall;

Small Business of the Year: Wayne Bed & Breakfast Inn;

Nonprofit of the Year: Home of the Sparrow of Exton;

And Green Business of the Year: St. Joseph’s University.

Please plan to join us as we celebrate and learn from these individuals and organizations.
