On June 29th, The Main Line Chamber of Commerce (MLCC) hosted an event that provided students the opportunity to engage in professional development activities.  This event was held at the Chamber in Wayne, PA and was geared towards college interns through the Talent and Education (TEN) Program.

The event started with an icebreaker where students learned how to balance both networking and eating at the same time.  Students learned the importance of going to an event early to ensure time for networking.

Campus Philly gave a presentation after the networking activity highlighting fun ideas for interns to do in Philly over the summer.  Cory, the presenter, was truly captivating while proving students can balance work and fun.  This enthusiastic presentation was a great prelude for the fireside chat with USLI CEO Thomas Nerney and MLCC CEO Bernard Dagenais.

The fireside chat was an opportunity for the students to have a discussion with the two CEOs.  They shared their thoughts on success and leadership through a motivational conversation.  Nerney and Dagenais were accessible for a Q&A session and offered great insight and advice to the students.
