A message from your chamber of commerce
From Main Line Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Bernard Dagenais: “These unprecedented times call for unprecedented measures. The Chamber team is committed to serving our members through this period of heightened concern. SPW turns to technology as it tests virtual event model
The Society of Professional Women will host a virtual lunchtime event, featuring speaker Robin Gerber from Los Angeles, presenting: Leadership The Eleanor Roosevelt Way. During a time when in-person connection is being limited due to safety concerns, we are planning a productive and innovative experience that will include a networking component. Log-in information will be shared with registrants. Registration remains open. Stay tuned for more details.

Pennsylvania Department of Health provides latest updates
Number of COVID-19 cases rises to 76.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed 13 additional positive cases of COVID-19 – two in Allegheny County; one in Bucks County; six in Montgomery County; two in Monroe County; and two in Philadelphia County. All are either in isolation at home or being treated at the hospital. This brings the statewide total to 76 cases. Confirmed cases also include those from commercial and hospital laboratories.

Scholastic makes free student lessons available for students at home
Even when schools are closed, school students can keep the learning going with special cross-curricular journeys. Every day includes four separate learning experiences, each built around a thrilling, meaningful story or video. Kids can do them on their own, with their families, or with their teachers. Just find your grade level and let the learning begin.
