Job Description:
The Contracts Administrator is responsible for managing the efficient vendor contract management process across Hartford Funds. This role offers the opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented, and process-minded individual to manage the function in coordination with various business owners. The individual in this role will have exposure to and collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities include managing third-party supplier contracts, including timely renewals and /or amendments of current contracts, reviewing new contracts, contract retention and file management. The role will act as a liaison between the business owners and The Hartford Procurement team.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Coordinate the process and requirements for contract activity requests using project management software and other methods of communication as needed
- Communicate clearly and consistently with internal stakeholders on missing pieces of information and status of contract activity
- Work closely with the finance and accounting teams to ensure that the financial impacts of new/amended and renewed contracts are represented in the Firm’s forecast and actual results
- Maintain a centralized repository of all Hartford Funds contracts
- Act as a liaison between Hartford Funds business owners, The Hartford and vendors
- Partner with business lines in order to stay informed with the current and future contract and procurement needs
- Analyze and review service contracts for Hartford Funds
- Ensure that spend is directed to the proper expense coding and category
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- A minimum of five years’ related experience with contract administration
- Self-motivated and highly professional team player with a propensity to take initiative
- Strong collaboration and communications skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Experience with Coupa is preferred
- Ability to resolve complex administrative issues
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000
