Interstate General Media union discussing bids among 6 partners
As testimony wrapped up Wednesday in hearings to determine sale of The Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia Daily News, the largest union representing Interstate General Media, LLC reportedly discussed bidding with six potential partners. Communications Workers of America and multimillionaire Raymond Pereleman – who’s previously expressed interest in owning the company – were among possible bidders, though Perelman indicated he wouldn’t match the $77 million announced by George Norcross and Lewis Katz earlier in the week.
