New SEPTA Regional Rail Schedules in Effect
SEPTA is reminding customers that new Regional Rail schedules are now in effect with some changes being made to most schedules. The updates impact the Airport, Chestnut Hill East, Chestnut Hill West, Fox Chase, Glenside, Lansdale/Doylestown, Manayunk/Norristown, Media/Wawa, Paoli/Thorndale, Trenton, Warminster, West Trenton, and Wilmington/Newark Lines.
Riders are encouraged to check the Regional Rail Schedule Change page on SEPTA’s website for new departure and arrival times.
Below are some highlights of the upcoming service changes:
Chestnut Hill East:
• Six midday trains restored to provide weekday hourly service
Wilmington/Newark:
• Significant adjustments to accommodate Amtrak state of good repair bridge work in the Chester area
Warminster:
• Significant adjustments due to Willow Grove Station construction
These changes will maintain Regional Rail service at 77% of pre-COVID levels. Regional Rail ridership has returned gradually and is currently at about 58% of pre-pandemic levels.
