The Foundation for Delaware County Announces Second Annual Delco Gives May 8-9, 2025
The Foundation for Delaware County today announced that Delco Gives will be back on May 8-9, 2025 with Power Home Remodeling (POWER) as the presenting sponsor.
“Delco Gives Day is more than just a fundraising event; it’s a celebration of generosity and community spirit,” said Adam Kaliner, co-founder of POWER. “We’re honored to be back as the presenting sponsor and join forces with The Foundation for Delaware County to create positive change in ways this community deserves.”
“We are thrilled to host year two of Delco Gives. Last year, 9,600 donors raised more than $1.7 million for nearly 300 nonprofits,” said Frances M. Sheehan, President of The Foundation for Delaware County. “We are honored to have Power Home Remodeling’s commitment as presenting sponsor to this vital initiative for Delaware County. Their support of local nonprofit organizations helped make year one of Delco Gives a tremendous success and I have no doubt that year two will be even better.”
Hosted by The Foundation for Delaware County, Delco Gives is a community-wide celebration that benefits hundreds of nonprofits. Through an online giving platform, Delco Gives encourages the community to explore and donate to a diverse range of nonprofits supporting Delaware County.
Each donation that is made gives the nonprofit the opportunity to earn additional bonus money provided by sponsors and the Foundation. Bonus dollars are based on the total number of donors to each nonprofit, not the total number of dollars. Additional cash prizes sponsored by local businesses are also given out from May 8-9, 2025. Business sponsorship funding incentivizes participation and helps to raise even more money for nonprofits.
There will be a series of community celebrations throughout the county to celebrate Delco Gives and connect nonprofits and residents from all corners of the county. More details to be announced in early 2025. Registration for nonprofits will open on Jan. 6, 2025.
