Together, We Can Change the Story for Foster Youth
At Well Rooted, our mission is to stand alongside families and young adults connected to foster care, ensuring they have the support and resources to thrive. Founded by two Haverford Township moms who saw a painful gap in the system, we are committed to building pathways to stability, resilience, and hope for those who too often fall through the cracks.
The need is urgent: upwards of 25% of young adults aging out of foster care experience homelessness, and another 25% live with PTSD—at rates higher than Iraq War veterans. These statistics reveal the harsh realities faced by youth who transition out of care without consistent support.
Well Rooted exists to change that story. Through mentorship, emergency assistance, and community partnerships, we provide the tools and relationships that foster-connected families and youth need to build independent, thriving futures.
