Young Professionals
At The Main Line Chamber of Commerce, we are focused on connecting our members with business, leadership development and talent. It is vital to the strength and recovery of our region, and we are responding to current affairs on multiple fronts and in unprecedented ways. With the regrettable resurgence of Covid as we head into the fall, the Chamber is monitoring the threat posed to health by the COVID-19 virus, including updates and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as state and county health departments. To ensure the safety of our community, we have decided to temporarily suspend all Young Professional events. We are hoping to bring them back in the Spring of 2022.
Mission:
Learning how to network effectively is one of the most powerful tools individuals can use to advance their personal and professional life and open the door to new opportunities. The Main Line Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals programs offers the opportunity to build and enhance networking skills through professional socialization and education.

Frequently Asked Questions:
What is a Main Line Chamber Young Professional (MLC-YP)?
The MLC-YP program is designed to connect, empower, and engage the local young talented workforce between the ages of 21-40. Our goal is to make a significant difference in the professional development of our members and to make a positive impact in our community. At our events, YPs have opportunities to meet other YPs and community leaders to build connections and relationships, although not necessarily sales.
What type of job do I have to have to be included?
Young professionals come in all shapes, sizes, nationalities, backgrounds, industries, and educational experience. Accountants, artists, bankers, engineers, non-profit workers, graduate students, small business owners and everyone in between is welcome in MLC-YP.
Do I have to be a Main Line Chamber member to join MLC-YP?
MLC-YP is a program of The Main Line Chamber of Commerce and is designed to encourage and support the growth and development of our area’s young, talented workforce and open to all young professionals. A Main Line Chamber membership is NOT required to attend MLC-YP events but a non-member fee may be applied to non-Chamber MLC-YP members attending other Chamber programs and events.
Filling a MLC-YP leadership role such as a committee volunteer, and sponsoring an event and/or participating as a guest speaker, requires a membership in The Main Line Chamber of Commerce.
How do I become a member of MLC-YP?

No. Membership is free. Nominal fees are charged for events.
How can I get involved in MLC-YP?
MLC-YP offers volunteer and committee level involvement on a regular basis. See below for contact information.
How did MLC-YP get started?
The need for this type of program was discovered by staff and volunteers of The Main Line Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber’s Member Value Committee investigated the opportunities, formed a committee to represent the voice of YPs in our service area, and the rest is history.
